Virtual Financial-Planning Event Planned by the Alzheimer’s Association

The Alzheimer’s Association Greater Indiana Chapter will host a virtual program on legal and financial planning. The two-part series will be held Wednesday, April 21st and Wednesday, April 28th, at 5pm both nights. As Tax Day nears, the Alzheimer’s Association encourages patients and family members to plan proactively for the potential financial impact of Alzheimer’s Disease. Topics will include tax deductions and credits, a review of related legal documents, how to find legal and financial assistance, government programs that can help pay for care and practical strategies for long-term planning. The Alzheimer’s Association says nearly110,000 Hoosiers are living with Alzheimer’s and another 215,000 family members are serving as unpaid caregivers. Registration for the virtual program is free.
