Indiana’s newly-updated county metrics map as of today now shows Lake, Porter and Newton counties in the red, or highest category, based on weekly cases-per-thousand and positivity rate for COVID-19. Here is a link to the map. The state’s 92 counties are color-coded from blue to yellow to orange to red, lowest to highest, in terms of prevalence of the novel coronavirus. There are no blue counties on the map as of the latest information, with most counties in the orange category and 21 counties statewide in the red status. Putnam County in west-central Indiana is the one county color-coded yellow.
