In Portage, police have released surveillance photos of the lone male suspect in an attempted auto theft on Sunday night and are seeking the public’s help to identify him. Portage Police report that at approximately 3:41pm the suspect entered Todo Excavating on Southport Road, and while attempting to steal a company truck, he wrecked it.

Police report the suspect is described as a white male, 5’4”-to-5’8”, with a crew-cut hair style, wearing tan cargo shorts, a tan shirt and white gym shoes. Anyone who knows or who can identify the suspect is asked to contact Portage Police Detective Michael Vaughan at (219) 764-5705.
