If your children are looking for an activity on President’s Day—Monday, February 15th—Humane Indiana invites them to learn more about area wildlife at their February Wildlife Mini Camp. The camp will give children an overview of native wildlife and also a birds-eye view at wildlife rehabilitation. Campers will also have a chance to meet the center’s wildlife ambassador animals and help in making enrichment items to assist in caring for the animals. The camp is open for children aged six through eleven years of age, and space is limited to ensure safe social distancing. The event will cost fifty dollars per child and be held at Humane Indiana’s Wildlife Rehabilitation Center at 570 North 450 East in Valparaiso.
