Fires Out West Lead to Hazy Skies in Northwest Indiana and Elsewhere

The National Weather Service Northern Indiana says smoke from several very large wildfires out west has drifted over the Midwest and will remain aloft but continue through tomorrow, resulting in hazy skies and also a reddish hue to the moon during the nighttime hours. There are similar reports of hazy conditions from Michigan to Ohio to New York City due to the wildfires in parts of the western United States and Canada.
