Roadrunner Back Home in Nevada after Accidental Cross-Country Trip to Maine

A roadrunner is back home in Nevada after an accidental cross-country trip to Maine. After a direct flight from Boston to Las Vegas Tuesday he was released back into his old neighborhood a few hours after landing at the airport. The roadrunner was found in the back of a moving van earlier this month. A couple discovered the bird when they arrived at their new home on the East Coast after a four-day trip. The stowaway Greater Roadrunner was taken to a bird rehabilitation facility in Maine, where officials said he was in remarkably good shape considering all the time he was in the van.
