Alligators Rescued from Pennsylvania, Massachusetts Rivers

An alligator is recovering after being pulled from the frigid waters of a Pennsylvania river. The owner of Christina’s Reptile and Animal Sanctuary responded and removed the exhausted reptile from the water. It’s believed the three-foot long alligator may have been abandoned; the owner of the rescue stressed the importance of calling an experienced facility to care for the animal instead of releasing an animal into an incompatible habitat. A three-foot-long alligator spotted for months in a Massachusetts river was rescued yesterday by a Good Samaritan. The alligator was reportedly in good condition and will be transferred to a reptile rescue group.
