Indiana Dunes Tourism Hosts Winter Pop-Up Markets with Chesterton’s European Market

In Porter, Indiana Dunes Tourism and the Duneland Chamber of Commerce will host their first-ever Winter Pop-Up Markets. The Markets will be held January 18, 2025, and February 15, 2025, from 10am to 3pm in the Indiana Dunes Visitor Center on State Road 49 in Porter. The event brings Chesterton’s European Market indoors, showcasing local artisans and businesses. “We’re excited to partner with Indiana Dunes Tourism to bring the experience of the European Market to this new setting,” said Maura Mundell, President of the Duneland Chamber. “Visitors will not only enjoy the market but also have the chance to explore and learn more about the area and the dunes at the Visitor Center.” The tourism organization said it believes this partnership will help showcase local artisans and businesses to residents and visitors alike. “Many residents have never been to the Indiana Dunes Visitor Center,” said Christine Livingston, the President and CEO of Indiana Dunes Tourism, “but we receive over 200,000 visitors a year. This is a great opportunity to share this special place with the community, and we can’t think of a better partner to do it with than the Duneland Chamber of Commerce and the European Market.”
