It’s another milestone for Metallica, as the band is scheduled for their first-ever performance in Saudi Arabia on December 14th.
In a press statement, they called it “an amazing opportunity” and said, “We’ll be the first hard rock band to ever play at the Soundstorm Festival in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.”
This will be Metallica’s final show for the year, before taking a break for the holidays. The M72 World Tour will resume in 2024 with 44 concerts in 22 cities.
Metallica was also presented with the Sound Exchange Hall of Fame Award, for being one of the most streamed acts in the organization’s 20-year history.
