In Crown Point, the community is invited to join the Lake County Health Department Friday February 7, 2025, for the unveiling of their new Mobile Health Clinic, a specialized $229,000 vehicle that will allow the department to provide its clinic services within local communities. The public is invited to join Lake County’s Health Officer, members of the Health Department Board, and Lake County officials, along with a number of community partners, when they cut the ribbon on the Health Department’s state-of-the-art mobile clinic. A news release says the purchase was made possible with Health First Indiana funding and enables the department to expand the availability of its services where needed. The event Friday, February 7, 2025, is 12 noon to 2 pm at the Lake County Health Department, West 93rd Avenue, Crown Point, Barn No. 3 behind the main building, with a brief presentation and ribbon cutting beginning shortly after noon, followed by an open house, tour, and demonstration of the mobile clinic and its capabilities.
