Travis Barker survived a deadly plane crash back in 2008, and each and every day since has been a gift for the celebrated Blink-182 drummer. To honor the memory of those who died in that fateful plane crash – including two of Barker’s close friends, Charles “Che” Still and Chris Baker – the musician is auctioning off a boarding pass from his recent commercial Australian flight on Qantas from Sydney to Perth. The boarding pass features a hand drawn cross made by Barker, as well as this personal note from Travis, “I know I got Angels watching over me.”
According to details provided by auctioning company Trophy, the boarding pass is, “A true one of a kind item for the ultimate Travis Barker collector. Having not flown for over 13 years following his near fatal plane crash, he was finally able to tour again overseas recently. This extremely rare commercial boarding pass is not just a piece of music memorabilia, it’s a true piece of Travis himself, complete with original hand-written note and cross drawing.” (Uproxx)
