The Who‘s Pete Townshend says that his dear friend, Elton John has completed a new album with Brandi Carlile.
He told Clash Music, that Elton has been at a loss following the end of his farewell tour and reached out to Carlile to work on a project that was recorded in Los Angeles.
Townshend said, “They made an album together in two weeks. He says it’s one of the best things they’ve ever done.”
Elton had already revealed that the record was finished and that he had worked on it with life-long songwriting partner, Bernie Taupin.
