In Valparaiso, city officials say significant progress is being made on work to improve some of the most-traveled roads, with many projects nearing completion. A news release said in the coming weeks motorists can expect periodic lane closures on Vale Park Road between Campbell and Valparaiso streets; also, that same stretch of Vale Park Road will be closed this Saturday and Sunday November 6-7, reopening for Valparaiso High School arrival Monday morning, then closed from 9am through Monday evening November 8th. Other ongoing roadwork includes finishes on Roosevelt, Calumet and Morgan. Here is a link for the full announcement.
