Let's face it. There's only one good thing about driving to work in the Region: Indiana's favorite morning show! Join Bob, Tom, Chick and Kristi Monday-Saturday from 5-9am! They've known each other since radio was invented, and they've been meeting really early every morning to talk about anything and everything that pops into their heads ever since. Toss this in a blender with an endless list of comedy regulars and daily special guests, not to mention news, traffic and weather specifically for Northwest Indiana, and you've got the only morning show a Region Rat like you will ever need! All you have to do is listen.
In her college days at St. Joseph's Amanda was known as the “sexy voice.” That voice is what brought her to radio. Growing up she had her heart set on being an astronaut. Then fate stepped in and she found out she needed glasses. Then yet another heartbreak. In high school (Kankakee Valley High School), she got in trouble in art class (for the details just ask) and dashed her dreams of becoming a computer animator. When she was about to enroll in college to become a psychiatrist her mother convinced her she knew too much about music to waste her talents on anything less than radio. Mama knew best. She said she can't imagine being anywhere else. Her favorite song at the moment is The Velvet Underground’s “Hey, Mr. Rain” (Version 1). She really loves her movies and television shows. Her favs include: Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill Vol. 1, Death Proof, Goodfellas, Crash, Grandma’s Boy, and Old School <deep breath> Dexter, Life on Mars, Reno 911!, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, all the crazy reality shows on VH1, The Principal’s Office, and last but not least The Smoking Gun’s World’s Dumbest. She keeps things low key and enjoys spending time with friends and family, hanging out on her porch or in her garage, and reading or listening to music. Don’t miss Miss Gass weekdays from 9 am to noon and Sundays from 6 am to 10 am.
T Tom has called Highland, Indiana home since he was born. After graduating from Highland High School in 1977 he spent a year at Purdue Calumet and then a year at Indiana University Northwest before receiving a job offer for a print and radio gig and never went back to college. Someday he hopes to go back to school, along with write a book about all of his adventures. For thirty years Tom has been in the entertainment industry in a multitude of facets from print, radio, band manager, booking agent, night club manager, mobile dj – you name it and he’s probably “been there, done that.” He said he liked all of his jobs and would go back to any one of them. Radio One Communications has been home for him for six years. He said he got into this business so that he never had to grow up. While growing up as a little kid all he wanted to do was play and as a teenager he wanted to be James Dean, a rebel actor, or a rock star. But, he knew media was the route he had to take after a one semester course with teacher, Joseph Fetty, completely change his life. Tom said Fetty is completely responsible for what he is today and all in one semester. After reading Larry Lujack’s biography, Superjock, his fate was sealed. Because of his adoration of music, Tom wishes he could have met Elvis Presley so that “The King” could have taught him about the early days of rock. He would love to hang out with his friend Alice Cooper more often so Cooper could teach Tom how to golf. But what this “very driven workaholic” loves most is spending time with his daughter (Sarah, 23) and son (Dylan, 12). He said he’s very proud of both of them. You can catch Tom weekdays from 4 pm to 7 pm!

He's been there. He's STILL there. And what ever it is you'd expect a rock star to have done over a 40-year career, you can bet he's done it. Listen to Alice reflect on the hotel-trashing days of yore while he plays the kind of classic rock variety you can only find at 103.9 on your dial. Warning: Consult your doctor first.
