The Indiana Department of Transportation says a resurfacing project will begin on U-S 41 in Hammond. INDOT reports lane closures will take place for southbound U-S 41, between 119^th Street and 133^rd Street, as crews will be resurfacing the roadway, weather permitting. INDOT also reminds motorists that on Monday I-90, in both directions, will be reduced to one lane, on IN 912 at the Cline Avenue East Junction and Grant Street, until 3pm that afternoon. As always please use caution while traveling through the construction zone.
