An investigation continues into the Tuesday morning bank robbery at TCF Bank, located in the Jewel-Osco building at Calumet Avenue and Ridge Road. Munster Police Sergeant Steven Kovacik says the suspect, described as a black man, weighing around 220 pounds, wearing a blue t-shirt, was still at large. Authorities report the suspect entered the bank just before noon Tuesday, and handed the teller a note demanding money, before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction with an unknown amount of money. Sergeant Kovacik says they don't believe the suspect had a weapon.
