Ditch some ditch-work, and put the brakes on some parks? The Lake County Council has a couple more budget workshops before taking a vote on the county spending plan for 2013, and according to published reports, at Tuesday's meeting the suggestion came up to cut a-million dollars from the parks budget, a move others said would affect revenues and jobs... The Times says the council voted to trim bridge and drainage monies, and there reportedly was tentative talk of cutting thirteen county police jobs.
