A ribbon cutting ceremony was being held in Crown Point Tuesday to mark the END of construction for the city's storm water improvement project to reduce flooding and also make improvements to West Street. Work included installing new water lines, storm sewer and catch basins along West Street between Joliet/US 231 and North Street. Construction on the two-point-one million dollar project began in the Spring.
