Major Accident on Borman

There was about a ten-mile backup on the westbound Borman Expressway this morning following a multi-vehicle accident reportedly involving an SUV and multiple semis about 7:30 this morning just before Indianapolis Boulevard in Hammond. INDOT says three left lanes of the interstate have been closed near the accident scene.  There are also delays on the eastbound side approaching the accident scene from the Indiana/Illinois state line.
