Region residents are invited to help celebrate the 60th year of Save the Dunes at its 2nd annual “Jammin' for the Dunes” festival Saturday night (Sept. 8th) in Michigan City. According to Save the Dunes, the fest will feature lots of live bands plus music, beer festival, local food vendors, a raffle for prizes and much more. Tickets are ten-dollars at the door (cash only). The event takes place from 4 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. At Washington Park's Jaycee Stage in Michigan City. The organization says proceeds directly benefit Save the Dunes and all natural resources of Northwest Indiana's Lake Michigan watershed for an enhanced quality of life.
