US Steel, USW Reach Tentative Agreement

Statements from the United Steelworkers (USW) and US Steel say the two have reached a tentative three-year agreement covering approximately 16-thousand workers at the company's domestic flat-rolled and iron ore mining facilities as well as tubular operations in Lorain, Ohio, and Fairfield, Ala.   The two had been negotiating since June for a collective bargaining agreement.
