Callers: Steel Coil Unrolls on Highway

Multiple callers to Radio One Communications this morning reported a steel coil from an overturned semi 'unrolled' across all lanes of the westbound Indiana Toll Road in Gary around 9:30 this morning, near the 12-and-a-half mile marker, between Cline Avenue and Grant Street.  We've gotten reports of motorists driving over the steel, with the coil resting up against the center concrete median. The semi was reportedly on a ramp.
