President Obama is saluting the victims of another mass shooting, the latest being this morning at a US Navy Yard. Just blocks from Washington DC's Navy Yard military complex, the Commander in Chief appeared shocked. "We are confronting yet another mass shooting." Even before the death toll was known, it was clear that once again the country was reeling from violence that seemed unimaginable. "Men and women protecting us. "They are patriots who the know dangers of serving abroad, but today faced the unimaginable violence they wouldn't have expected here at home." The response will take military and civilian effort. " This comes at a poignant moment for Washington. Congress is considering gun laws including Stand your Ground laws, bringing the mother of victim Trayvon Martin, and the parents of Chicago teen victims to the Capitol to testify.
