The last defendant of 23 charged in the Latin King Rico Conspiracy indictments pled guilty today in Hammond Federal Court. The U-S Attorney's Office reports 35 year old Dante Reyes, of Mexico, pleaded guilty to the felony offense of conspiracy to participate in racketeering activity. Authorities say also charged, but still at-large, is 30 year old Paulino Salazar, of Chicago, and a total of six of the 23 charged who have entered guilty pleas have been sentenced. According to the indictment, the Latin Kings were responsible for at least 19 murders in the Chicago/Northwest Indiana area and Big Springs, Texas.
