Asner Released From Hospital

According to his publicist, veteran actor Ed Asner has been released from a Chicago-area hospital after being transported there by ambulance from a performance in Miller Tuesday night. Asner was performing a one-man show at Marquette Park Pavilion in Gary when he was taken off stage. His publicist also says the 83-year-old Asner was suffering from exhaustion.  The seven-time Emmy winner has been touring the country playing President Franklin Delano Roosevelt for the past three years.
