Flood warnings are in effect for several counties around Indiana, including cities like Vincennes, Terre Haute, Indianapolis, Muncie and Fort Wayne. The National Weather Service says a record rainfall of 1.14 inches was set at Fort Wayne Sunday, .breaking the old record of 0.97 set in 1937.
Rising waters are closing roads in parts of southern and southwest Indiana. Widespread rainfall over the weekend combined with melting snow and saturated soils is causing lowland flooding, prompting the National Weather Service to declare a Flood Warning for three dozen Indiana counties.
