Lake County Coroner Merrille Frey is seeking your help in identifying and locating the families of several unidentified victims. The Coroner reports her office has exhausted all leads in seeking identification of these victims, and has even been working with a world renowned Forensic Anthropologist who has provided some additional physical characteristics of the victims. Frey listed four individuals in her press release, and asks that anyone with information is urged to contact the Coroner's Office. Here is a copy of the information provided on the four deceased individuals:

On December 24, 2011, a black female, approximately forty-five to fifty years old was found at 2035 Pennsylvania Street in Gary, Indiana. The death occurred as a result of homicide and the victim was discovered in a garage.

On April 1, 2012, the Coroner’s office responded to 2040 East 22nd Place in Gary, Indiana where a black female, approximately thirty-five to fifty-five years old was discovered. This victim had an estimated height of five feet eight inches. She had a larger than average build.

On July 15, 2012, the Coroner’s office responded to 137 East 39th Avenue in Gary, Indiana. An unidentifiable male was discovered in one of the rooms of the residence, which had been boarded and vacated. It is possible this male had frequented a soup kitchen in the area.

On July 20, 2012, the Coroner’s office responded to Motel Lee, in Schererville, Indiana. Upon arrival, the decedent was identified as Amy Ellington, a thirty-nine year old white female, approximately five feet ten inches, two hundred and thirty pounds.
