Teen Dies in East Chicago Shooting

A 17 year old from Calumet City was shot and later died from gunshot wounds suffered over the weekend in East Chicago. The Times reports Christian Taylor was pronounced dead at 11:40 Sunday morning, at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, after being wounded in a shooting on the 43-hundredth block of Baring Avenue in East Chicago. Published reports say the date and time of the shooting have not yet been made available, but that an autopsy was scheduled for today.
