Lake County Prosecutor Bernard Carter announced today his office collected nearly ten-million dollars owed in child support this past summer. Collections totaled over three-million dollars for each of the months of June, July and August.  A news release from the prosecutor's office today says the total amount collected so far for 2012 is over 28-point-four-million dollars, an increase of over four-and-a-half-percent over 2011 collections for the same period.
