If you're car is hard to start, stalls out or has been experiencing other engine issues during the last seven days there's a reason for it—bad gas. BP Refinery in Whiting has notified Northwest Indiana fuel distributors that it is recalling gasoline from one of their storage tanks from their Whiting fuel storage terminal , may cause mechanical problems for motorists. According to BP the gasoline affected is unleaded regular that came from the refinery August 13st through the 17th. The gasoline reportedly could have been sold at BP stations and other retail outlets in the Region. The refinery has established a customers hotline for motorists experiencing the recent engine performance problems mentioned above (800) 333-3991.
