Porter County Sheriff's police are warning residents about a number of recent car break-ins and burglaries in the Porter Township area near Lakes of the 4 Seasons.   Sgt. Larry LaFlower, Public Information Officer is advising residents to not leave any valuables behind and to lock their vehicles every night.  Sgt. LaFlower also says to check with your neighbor and watch out for each other and report any kind of suspicious persons or vehicles in the area to the sheriff's department so they can send out a unit and check into the activity further.   Sheriff's police also believe the same person or persons are responsible for all the thefts since they are occurring in the same general area.
