Older Woman Have Higher Risk of Alzheimer's

A new study out today suggests women in their sixties are twice as likely to get Alzheimer's disease than men....and it's an even bigger risk for women than breast cancer at those ages. ABC News reports the Alzheimer's Association released the numbers showing that by the time a woman is 65 ..she has a 1 in 6 chance of developing Alzheimer's.... About half the number of men the same age develop that dementia. The association also saying that the aging woman's Alzheimer's risk is twice as great as developing breast cancer...and that the cost of care could reach 214 billion dollars this year.
