Potholes have taken over region roads but now Gary is launching a campaign to help residents stay on top.
According to the city's weekly e-newsletter, last week alone, General Services has filled more than 25-hundred potholes. To stay current on potholes being filled and to report a potholes that need filling, Gary has launched "Operation Pothole."
Since a lot of state highways, interstates and the toll road run through Gary, the city acknowledges INDOT for being on the job filling potholes.
Now residents or even those who pass through can help the city fill the potholes quicker by using one of three contact methods: 1) Call it in to (219) 881-1311
2) Submit it online at gary.in.us 3) Download the City of Gary 311 app and report it there.
