The LaPorte Police Department today announced three recent arrests on drug-related charges as the result of on-going investigations by the county's Metro Operations Unit involving the distribution of narcotics and illegal drugs in and around the LaPorte area. Police report on Monday, an arrest warrant for dealing marijuana was served to a 25 year old man who at the time was incarcerated on other charges. Police report on Tuesday, a 35 year old man was arrested without incident at his home, in the 100 block of David Court, and charged with dealing heroin. Later that same day, police report a 29 year old woman was arrested without incident at her home, in the 100 block of Warder Street, and charged with dealing prescription medication.
LaPorte Police report additional arrests are anticipated and they continue to encourage the public to report potential drug activity to the LaPorte County Metro Operations Unit at (219) 325-9022.
