There's been a development in connection to the stabbing and robbery of an elderly man and his wife in the parking lot of popular outlet mall in Michigan City. Police say the two suspects, identified as Willie Jones and Kenisha Simpson now face formal charges of Robbery, Aggravated Battery and Fraud--all felonies.
Cpl. Tim Baker conducted a probably cause hearing in front of Honorable Judge Lange in Superior Court today (Friday). According to published reports, with the assistance of Chief Deputy Prosecutor Robert Neary, probable cause was found by testimony presented by Cpl. Baker.
Both suspects have been issued a 100-thousand dollar cash only bond.
