President Obama and local officials in the Gulf Coast have advised caution as Isaac was upgraded to a Category 1 hurricane from tropical storm. And with September as "Disaster Preparedness Month," those in the surrounding northwest areas or the rest of the country, yhe Federal Emergency Management Agency is reminding the rest of the country to be prepared for natural disasters.
